Veteran road-tripper and Asheville resident Pete Candler will present a series of short films from the American South that beautifully and hauntingly capture the contradictions of the region. From short on-site sketches of neglected places to finely-crafted visual stories, Pete’s films invite viewers on a meditative journey through the mostly-undiscovered terrain of public and private memory in the nation’s most complicated and imaginatively fertile region.

The event starts at 6:00PM with a reception to follow. This is free and open to the public.
