Staff and students from the Space Science Center will have telescopes set up in the baseball field, across the road from Liberty Pool on November 11th. We will begin at 6:00 pm with a presentation by Dr. Rosa Williams on objects in the late summer evening skies. Weather permitting, we will then move to a tour of the night sky, and close-ups with the telescopes. Some of the objects we will be able to see are Jupiter and Saturn and then as the night sky darkens, we will try to find harder to see objects. The phase of the Moon will also be Waning Crescent making it easier to find more dim objects.
