Astronomy Night: Franklin Dr. Roosevelt State Park

Join us (weather permitting) on Saturday, September 25 at 8 p.m at F.D.R. State Park.  We will be in the baseball field across the road from Liberty Pool. There will be a brief presentation by  Dr. Rosa Williams about objects in the autumn sky.  Afterward, we will move to our telescopes to view the setting planet Venus, the rising planets Jupiter and Saturn, and fainter night-sky objects such as double stars (like Alberio in Cygnus), the Ring and Omega Nebulas, the Wild Duck star cluster, and more!

Join the Columbus Coca-Cola Space Science Center staff for an evening of star talks, star maps, and night sky viewing. Bring a chair or blanket for sitting on grassy field. Meet at baseball field off Rte. 354, across from Liberty Bell Pool.
