Astronomy Night: Will You Spot a Galaxy?
By Coca-Cola Space Science Center

An evening of galaxies awaits you!

The evening will begin with a presentation on the Fall-Winter night skies in our Omnisphere Planetarium, hosted by Dr. Rosa Williams.  Afterward, weather permitting, we will bring telescopes to the CCSSC’s South Lawn to view the rising Waxing Gibbous Moon,  the planets Jupiter and Saturn, and even fainter objects such as the  Andromeda and Triangulum Galaxies, double stars (like Shedir in Cassiopeia), and the Double Cluster in Perseus.

7PM: Presentation in Omnisphere Theater
8PM: Telescope Viewing (Weather permitting)

THIS IS A FREE EVENT.
