Thanksgiving Hot & Healing Gratitude Flow
The holidays are officially here! We know this is a wonderful time filled with lots of joy, family & friends, we also know that it can be a very stressful time, especially with all the current uncertainty.
No worries, loves — yoga to your rescue! Yoga can seriously help alleviate stress/anxiety & can even help aid in digestion before & after that big turkey/tofurkey meal.
With gratitude for the breath, we will move mindfully & consciously while harnessing a deep heartfelt appreciation for our wellbeing & send healing, loving gratitude to our brothers & sisters in the yoga class & throughout the world.
We will start with a meditation that focuses on radiating a prayer of love for the world around us with Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu, a Sanskrit mantra which means: “May all beings everywhere be happy, healthy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
Then we will warm up for a flowy flow that will be full of opening hamstrings & hips detoxifying twisty twists & some fun (but always safe) get outta your comfort zone inversions! The class will end with a few long, passive/restorative poses, followed by a sweeter than pumpkin pie shhhhavasanaaaahhhhh.
