Join Oxbow Meadows educators for a day full of themed activities!
- 9:30am-10:30am Baby Bats: Boo! Get in Halloween spirit while learning about bats! ($5 per participating child)
- 11:30am-12:30pm Spooky Science Show: Get spooked and thrilled by a Spooky Scientist in this Halloween themed science show. ($5 per person)
- 1:30pm-2:30pm Spinning Spiders: Come explore the importance of these web-slinging creatures in a hands-on program. ($5 per participating child)
- 10:00am-12:00pm Nature Play: Spooky Critters: Oxbow Meadows hosts a weekly hands-on Nature Play in our Discovery Forest. Nature Play is lightly guided by Oxbow Meadows volunteers and is designed to encourage children and adults to be creative while exploring nature. There is no registration or fee required for this event. Please note, Nature Play is designed for children to explore nature with their paretns or guardians, and for Oxbow volunteers to assist with new ways to play in nature. Parents are soley responsible for their children at all times. (Free)
Purchase tickets through our website. Programs are free for children of age 2 and under.
Program Policies:
Shows will meet in the auditorium, and all other programs will meet at the binocular station. Nature Play meets in the Discovery Forest.
Tickets should be reserved in advance for paid programs.
We cannot guarantee entry to paid programs without prior reservations.

All groups of more than 10 participants require reservations.
Some programs may be canceled due to weather, so please check our website for current information and additional information about Oxbow.
Adult supervision is required at all times during programs. Drop-offs are not allowed.
