Teen Writing & Performance Workshop

Wide Open Workshop

A free writing/performance workshop for area youth (ages 12 - 19). This workshop will take place outside at Port Columbus North Columbus Public Library (5689 Armour Road, 31909). There will be snacks provided. Attendees will be led through some fun creative writing activities, as well as participate in some fun improv! Actor, improviser, and CSU alum Nick Rulon will be the special guest teaching artist for the afternoon.

Open Mic begins at 4:00 p.m. where participants will have the opportunity to share the work they created.

Workshop: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sat. November 21st
Open Mic Performances begin at 4:00 p.m. 

Cost: Free 

Where: Port Columbus (1002 Victory Drive, Columbus, GA 31901)

*This workshop will take place outside. There is limited seating! Must RSVP to attend! Please feel free to bring your own chairs. We ask that all in attendance bring masks and practice social distancing.  In the event of inclement weather, this event will be postponed.*
